Ratha Yatra is one of the best hindu festival in the world to worship Lord Jagannath,the Lord of the world. In India most of the state perform this celebration. People enjoy pulling rope of the Lord Jagannath’s Chariot and people bring him to his aunts( Mausi Maa Temple) home. In this festival
Lord Balabhadra and mata Subhadre also accompany to Lord Jagannath.
In Puri there are three Chariot, one for Lord Jagannath one for Lord Balabhadra and one for Mata Subhadra.
Chariot of Lord Jagannath is known as Nandighosh/Garuddhwaja/Kopidhwaja.
Chariot of Lord Balabhadra is known as Taladhwaja.
Chariot of Mata Subhadra is known as Padmadhwaja/Darpadalana.
Ratha Yatra festival now has become a world class festival. ISKCON hare Krishna society played a great role to spread this great festival around the world.
